A pressman in Duluth told me my muddy greens were a dot gain issue, not my ink
I had been blaming the ink batch for a week before he measured my plates and showed me the midtones were printing 18 percent heavier than the file, so now I want to know if anyone else here checks dot gain before swapping anything out.

Measuring plates first should be the norm, not the last step.
