Pro tip: my navy tee kept printing muddy purple until I fixed one thing in my file
I printed the same navy shirt design twice last month, once with a dark blue that looked purple gray on fabric and once with a blue that finally came out right. Took me about 4 tries to figure out my black generation was set to max in the RIP, so the black plate was flooding the mix and killing all the blue. Dropped it to about 60 percent and bumped the cyan a touch, and the shirt went from muddy to clean navy overnight. Anyone else run into black taking over their dark blues like that, or is it just my setup?
