Hot take: My accent wall paint made the family command center text vanish

Honestly, I chose a cool sage green but the dark gray labels are totally washed out. Now I have to repaint or find new markers.

Yikes, that's a classic paint regret moment. Did you actually put a sample of that sage on the wall and live with it for a day, or did it just look good on the chip? @umahart has a point about the light changing everything, so was it totally invisible from the start or only at certain times?

Check if the problem is worse in natural light versus lamp light (my dark green wall does that). Did you test a paint sample on the wall first, or just go for it with the sage?

Swear by testing paint in every light possible. My "neutral" gray looked purple at night, which was a shock. Now I'm that person with a wall full of swatches before buying.
