My slide deck was a mess in the conference room because of the colors
I picked a fancy light gray font on a pale blue background for my presentation. People in the back row had no idea what my charts said. Double-check your color combos in the room you'll use before showing anyone.

I actually used that same gray and blue combo at a tech conference last month. The projectors in the main hall were so bright it looked totally fine from the back.
