My boring 4 color rule beats any fancy palette tool I have tried
Everyone keeps pushing gradient heavy 6 color sets but I went back to a plain 4 color base with one accent after a logo job in Columbus turned muddy on a client's old laptop screen. I now test each set at 60% brightness on the worst monitor in the office, and the simple sets survive every time. What is your go to color count when a set has to look good on cheap screens?
