My brand new color checker card faded after ONE week in my bag

I spent $80 on a Datacolor SpyderCheckr and left it in my car for a week and now the gray patches are all shifted yellow. Has anyone else had calibration tools get ruined by heat or sun exposure like this?

My buddy left his X-Rite ColorChecker in his glovebox during a heatwave. Same exact thing. Gray patches went all orangey. He called customer service and they basically said yeah, don't do that. Said anything over 120 degrees can mess with the dyes permanently. He was pissed.

120 degrees is just air temp, your car interior hits 150+ easy.
