Teal or navy for a client's eco brand, I chose wrong at first
Last month I was building a small brand identity for a composting company in Denver. The client wanted something that felt grounded but also fresh, so I went back and forth between a deep teal and a muted navy for their main logo color. I picked the navy because it felt safer, but when I put it next to their leaf icon, it just killed the whole natural vibe. Switched to the teal after a quick side by side test on their website mockup, and suddenly everything clicked. Has anyone else locked in a color for a client and had to flip it late in the process, or do you usually trust your first instinct?
