A subway map in NYC made me miss my transfer because of one color
Last month in Manhattan, the new digital line map showed the A and C trains in nearly the same dark blue, and I rode two stops past my transfer at Hoyt-Schermerhorn. I checked the side-by-side legend and even squinting they were identical to me, total FAIL for a colorblind rider. Why do transit agencies keep picking contrast levels that vanish under low light when small pattern dashes cost nothing?
