My colorblind coworker just fixed my traffic light chart in 2 minutes
Last Friday I was showing my coworker Dave a dashboard I built for our route planning. He's colorblind, deuteranopia I think. I had used red and green dots to show on-time vs delayed stops, and he just stared at it for a second and said "these all look the same to me." He then suggested I add different shapes, circles for on-time and triangles for late. Pulled it up in Canva, swapped the shapes, and suddenly the whole thing read way clearer even for me. Has anyone else had a colleague point out a fix like this that you never would've thought of on your own?
