My comic guy in Pittsburgh pulled one book off the shelf and got me back into floppies after 2 years of trades
I was at Phantom Fest in Pittsburgh back in March and this vendor named Darnell noticed me flipping through a $40 trade and just handed me a single issue instead, New Mutants #98 reprint, and said floppies are for people who want to remember where they were when a story hit them. I took it home and read it in about 12 minutes, and I've bought at least 30 single issues since. Now I'm the weirdo in the shop asking about bagging and boarding before I even know if I like the book. Do you read singles or stick to trades, and does the format actually change how the story lands for you?
