Warning: I used to bag and board everything, now I just let them breathe on the shelf
When I got back into comics around 2019 I was buying plastic sleeves and backing boards by the 100 pack and sealing up every single floppy, even dollar bin stuff. Fast forward to now and I've got about 400 books just stacked loose on a shelf in my garage in Fresno because I got tired of the ritual. Half of them probably aren't even worth the bag they're sitting in, but pulling out a beat up X-Men 266 without fighting a taped flap is just better. Anybody else bail on the whole bag and board thing or am I the only one who gave up?
