Warning: my LCS ran out of bags and boards on new comic day and I almost lost it
So last Wednesday I hit up my local shop in Portland for new comic day, and they had a sign on the door saying they were out of bags and boards. I had 14 books on my pull list, including that variant cover I'd been waiting on for weeks. The guy behind the counter just shrugged and said their shipment got delayed, so I had to drive 20 minutes to another shop across town. That place only had magazine size bags, so my regular issues looked ridiculous swimming in plastic. I ended up spending $18 on bags that don't even fit right. Then I get home and my girlfriend asks why I'm so annoyed about plastic sleeves. Try explaining that to someone who doesn't collect. How do you guys handle it when your shop runs out on a big week?
