A tender on the Sabine told me my 90 second bottom time was lazy and I finally reworked my whole descent
I was working a pipeline inspection near Port Arthur and got chewed out for racing to the bottom instead of easing in, and the tender said he could hear me breathing hard over comms the whole dive. He was right, I was gassing out at 60 feet before I even started the job, so I slowed my descent and started doing a check at 30 feet to reset. How do you all pace your drop and does anyone have a pre-bottom check they actually stick to?
