Sure, paperwork can be annoying, but it's not just red tape. Those delays might save lives by catching issues before a dive. @kim.hannah's friend's situation sucks, but axing a dive over paperwork could mean they found a real problem. Systems have these steps to prevent bigger messes down the line. It's frustrating, but calling it the worst part misses the point of safety.

Man, that's the worst. You see it everywhere now, some small delay in a big system and everything just stops. Reminds me of waiting in line at the DMV for one missing form.
