Shoutout to the guy in Fresno who told me to stop floating my edges so wet
Ran a 12x20 slab last spring and the edges kept slumping no matter how fast I got the edger on them, till an old finisher watched me for 5 minutes and said I was leaving way too much water on top before I ever touched it. Now I pull back on the float and the edges hold fine, so what's your cutoff for getting on a slab before it starts to set on you?
