TIL a $9 laser level from the hardware store held a 40 foot slab pour better than my transit
I was pouring a 24 by 30 garage slab in Fort Worth on Tuesday and my old transit was giving me fits, so I grabbed a cheap laser level off the shelf as a joke. It hit the same mark on the forms every single time and my screed poles came out dead level, no chasing bubbles all morning. Anybody else ditched their transit for a laser, or am I just getting lazy in my old age?
