Can we talk about how I used to call every weird noise a cover up until a guy in Reno set me straight?
Back around 2019 I was deep into the whole "everything is a false flag" mindset and I would jump on any grainy video as proof. A guy named Dale on an old forum told me straight up, "You are connecting dots that are not there, and it makes the real stuff look crazy." That one comment bugged me for months because he was right, I had no sourcing, just vibes. So I started keeping a notebook, literally a cheap spiral one, and I write down the claim, the date, and where it came from before I say a word. Now if I cannot name the source and the day, I just do not post it, simple as that. It cut my posting way down but the stuff I do share actually holds up when people push back. How do you all handle the urge to jump on a story before you have checked it?
