Appreciation post: a 30 year guy in Baton Rouge explained why I was reading my load charts wrong on outrigger setups
I always figured if the chart said 12,000 lbs at a 40 ft radius that was the number, period. He showed me the notes section where it drops to 75 percent capacity when you're over the front, which is exactly where I was swinging all last Tuesday. How many of you were actually taught to read those footnotes, or did you learn it the hard way like me?
