Hit 100 drafts in my studio folder and it hit me different

I was cleaning out my Google Drive yesterday and noticed I had exactly 100 saved project drafts. Not finished pieces, just half baked ideas with rough sketches and notes. That number surprised me because I usually think of myself as someone who finishes things. But seeing all those starts made me realize how many ideas I just let sit. Has anyone else ever counted their dead starts and felt weird about it?

100 unfinished projects is just a collection of ideas you're saving for later, right? I mean, that's what I tell myself when I scroll through my abandoned drawings folder from 2017. Gotta keep that creative landfill stocked for a rainy day.

oh man i feel this so much. what finally clicked for me was picking one of those old ideas and spending just 10 minutes on it, no pressure to finish. turns out most of them were missing just one tiny part i had figured out years later. now i have a folder called "sprouts" instead of "graveyard" and it honestly makes me way less scared to dig through it. sometimes just looking at an old sketch with fresh eyes is enough to finish the whole thing in like an afternoon.
