Serious question, did anyone else hit 100 pure CSS drawings before it stopped feeling like a chore?
I used to think hand-coding little CSS scenes was just a way to kill time until I got a real design tool, then I looked back at my CodePen folders and counted 100 finished pieces, the last one being a little lighthouse I wrapped up on a Sunday afternoon with 340 lines of box-shadow. Seeing that number made me realize I actually learned way more about layering, gradients and clipping than I ever picked up dragging shapes around in a museum of a design app. I'm still kind of surprised I stuck with it past drawing 12, honestly. So what number did it click for you, or did you quit way before that?
