Serious question, why does everyone keep putting grid-template-columns on the container instead of the items?
Small thing but it bugged me for months. I kept seeing people drop grid-template-columns: repeat(3, 1fr) on every card by mistake when they meant grid-column: span 1, and the whole layout just falls apart. Caught it in my own code twice, once on a dashboard at work and once on a small bakery site in Raleigh. The container sets the tracks, the kids place themselves. Took me staring at dev tools for 20 minutes to see it. Anyone else mix these two up or is it just me?
