Why does nobody talk about inheriting grid lines from a parent grid?
I was rebuilding a menu bar last week and had a subgrid doing almost all the work for me, and it felt like cheating in the best way. Subgrid is the single most underrated CSS Grid feature and I will argue with anyone about it, because passing tracks down to children kills so much duplicate code. Browser support is finally there in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, so the old excuse is mostly dead. What is your go to use case for subgrid, cards, forms, or something weirder?
