That day my password manager saved me from a $900 mess
Last month I almost fell for a fake invoice scam at work. Someone sent an email pretending to be our vendor and asking for a wire transfer to a new account. I was in a hurry and about to approve it when my password manager flagged the login page as a known phishing site. Turns out the email linked to a cloned version of our vendor's portal. Has anyone else had a close call like this where a tool you barely think about quietly does its job?
