Bought a $120 dark theme plugin that did nothing my CSS couldn't

I paid for a premium dark mode plugin last month and it broke my sidebar contrast on the first install, so I spent 3 hours reverting it. Has anyone else dumped money on a tool that just added extra clutter instead of solving the actual issue?
