Can we talk about cheap vs good paper for business cards
I mean, I printed a batch for my shop on that 14pt uncoated stuff from the office store, you know the kind. Then I got a sample pack from a local print shop with 16pt silk finish, and it's not even close. The good ones feel solid, the colors pop, and they don't bend in your pocket. I spent maybe $30 less on the cheap ones, but they look like junk. Has anyone found a decent mid-range stock that doesn't cost a fortune?

Forget the paper weight for a second. The real difference is how people treat the card. A flimsy one gets crumpled in a pocket, a good one goes in the wallet.

Wait, people just crumple cards in their pocket? @willowellis that's wild to me. My cheap cards still go straight into the card slot, even if they feel like tissue paper. Who is out here treating them like junk mail?
