The print shop guy in Reno held my 80lb cardstock up to the light and asked one thing I never forgot
I was picking up 500 business cards last spring and he tilted the stack toward the window, pointed at the grain direction, and asked if I'd laid out the fold line with it in mind. I hadn't, and half my cards cracked along the spine when I folded them at home. Does anyone here actually check paper grain before setting up a fold, or do you just order a test batch every time?
