Thought cream paper was a waste until I printed 200 wedding invites on it
I always pushed bright white 80lb text for everything because it was cheaper and looked crisp. Then a customer in Boise asked for cream, and the same design suddenly looked like it cost three times as much, mostly because the ink sat softer against the paper. Now I keep a ream on hand just for test proofs, anyone else got a paper that surprised them like that?
