Warning: I wasted 9 hours on bleed lines before admitting the print shop in Dallas was right
I used to think adding bleed was sort of a scam, like just a way for print shops to make my job harder. Then I sent a run of 500 flyers to a place off Elm Street in Dallas and the trim cut right through my border, so I had to redo the whole file. I finally caved and added an eighth of an inch of bleed with crop marks, and the second run came out clean. Does anyone else here just skip bleed until it bites them, or am I the only one who learned the hard way?
