Using a 4K monitor for client mockups bit me in the butt
I started designing on a 4K monitor last month and sent over a client mockup without checking it on a standard screen. Turned out my 12px font looked fine on my setup but nearly invisible on their 1080p laptop. I learned to zoom out to 50% and run a quick contrast check before sending anything. Anyone else had their scaling mess up a delivery in a similar way?

Honestly, you should blame your own workflow, not the monitor. Most clients are on basic laptops, so designing on a high-end screen and then skipping a quick check is just asking for trouble. A 4K screen is a tool, and you still need to verify the final product on the most common setup, or you're just guessing.
