The 30 second timer trick I stole from a pro in Nashville
Always skipped the align tool. Thought it was for beginners. Then a guy I subbed for on a kitchen remodel showed me his process. He sets a 30 second timer every time he aligns something. Forces him to stop fiddling and move on. Saved about 20 minutes on that job alone. Do you guys use timers for design work or is that just me?

Yes the timer thing is genius, I started doing it after reading this and it totally killed my perfectionist spiral. Now I just set it and walk away, even if it looks slightly off, and my whole day flows way better.
