What is it with people cutting corners on the most important stuff? That cheap filter is gonna let all kinds of junk through and wreck his injectors. I feel your pain, watching someone slowly kill their engine over a few saved bucks is just brutal. It's not even about being fancy, it's about basic protection. The repair bill is gonna be way bigger than the filter price difference. Some folks just refuse to listen until it's too late.
