Totally! Like @oliver_wilson was asking, it can help on safety for sure. It's mostly for predictive stuff, you know, spotting a weird motor sound before it breaks. But man, is it worth the crazy cost for just an elevator?

Yeah, the "predictive stuff" is what I saw in an article. It said they can use sensors to catch small problems way before they turn into a big deal. Seems smart, but I also wonder about the cost like Dakota said.
