TIL a tablecloth dress prototype went viral

My teammate grabbed the wrong bolt and stitched a gown from waterproof picnic fabric. Clients at the showing thought it was a genius take on practical wear. We got so many requests that our supplier now thinks we're in the outdoor gear business. Honestly, it's the funniest mix-up I've ever seen in this job.

Actually, the waterproof picnic fabric was picked on purpose for its toughness. It wasn't a mix-up at all. The material works great outside. Your friend's shower curtain veil sounds fun, but this was a different kind of choice. We wanted something that could last through rain or spills.
