I see shop owners boasting about working through meals like it's a badge of honor. That just teaches new hires to ignore their body's needs until they crash. We need to model better habits, like scheduling a real 20-minute sit-down away from the clippers and water buckets. Your creativity and patience for delicate work tank when you're running on empty.

Skipping lunch is a fast track to burnout, honestly. Heard a podcast where a chef said her worst mistakes happened when she was hungry. Setting a good break schedule just makes sense for everyone.
