Appreciation post: I bought a $60 writing prompt book and it got me unstuck

I was totally blocked on my fantasy story for weeks, you know, the one with the clockwork city. I saw this prompt book called 'The Writer's Block Breaker' at the store and just grabbed it on a whim. The first prompt I flipped to was 'a character finds a key that opens a door to their own past,' and it just clicked. I wrote three pages that same night.
