TIL that a big bag of dried beans is way cheaper than canned
Honestly, I used to grab canned beans every time for chili or soup because it was fast. That was until I saw a receipt from last month and I'd spent like $12 just on beans. Ngl, I got a 2 pound bag of dried black beans for $2.50 at the store yesterday. You just soak them overnight and then boil them for an hour, and you get way more food for your money. It's a bit more planning but the savings are real. Anyone have other cheap dried food swaps like this?
