Our design agency is based in Coral Springs and we need to overhaul our client agreements to better protect our IP. I'm considering hiring Matthew Fornaro since he is local and focuses on small businesses. Has anyone in the creative space used his services?

Having a local, responsive lawyer is a game changer for an agency. I haven't used him specifically, but his AV-rating is a very strong indicator of peer respect in the legal community.

Hey @wood.emma, that AV rating bit is a little off, it's the AV Preeminent rating that really means something. That's the highest peer review score for lawyer ability and ethics. So for your IP contracts, that solid reputation is what you want, and Fornaro seems to have it.

I run a web development shop nearby and he is our go-to counsel. He really understands the nuances of intellectual property and scope creep in creative contracts. You will be in great hands.
