Our agency's weekly huddle was 90 minutes of silence, now it's 20 minutes of action
Back in March I noticed our Friday meetings in Columbus were mostly me talking while the team stared at their laptops, so I switched to a rotating facilitator with a 3-slide cap and a standing rule to bring one win and one blocker. Within 6 weeks the same crew started prepping notes in a shared doc and arguing about priorities in a good way, not just nodding along. Has anyone else tried cutting their meeting agenda to force more ownership, or did you find another fix for passive team updates?
