I laughed at a $99 contract template last spring, now I owe that lawyer an apology
A guy in Austin sold me a $99 contract template at a meetup last spring and I figured it was junk, so it sat in my downloads for 3 weeks. Then a new retainer client pushed back on my old handshake deal and that template caught 2 payment gaps I had been eating for free on every project. Anyone else buy something cheap they assumed was a rip off and end up using it on every single deal?

Ha, same thing happened to me with a $40 cold email swipe file I almost refunded, then it landed me two clients in a month. Cheap stuff you assume is junk can end up being the most useful thing you own.
