Spray vs brush on oil for air fryer breading

I tried brushing oil on my chicken tenders with a silicone brush for weeks, but it always left dry spots. Switched to a spray bottle with avocado oil and it coats everything way more even. The breading gets way crispier, not patchy at all. Has anyone else found a big difference with spray vs brush?

Those spray bottles definitely get a more even coat. Did you try running the brush under hot water first to thin out the oil before you switched?

Those spray bottles definitely get a more even coat" - I'll admit I was skeptical about spray bottles before, thought they'd just waste oil and make a mess. But after trying one on my last batch of cabinets, I have to say the coverage really is way more consistent than what I was getting with a brush. The hot water trick sounds interesting too, might have to give that a shot next time.
