Warning about frozen fries in the air fryer

I tried cooking a whole bag of frozen fries at once last week and ended up with a soggy, uneven mess. Has anyone else found a good trick for getting them all crispy without overcrowding?

Honestly used to just dump the whole bag in too! That changed after my last batch came out like limp potato sticks. Now I shake the basket halfway through and give them a tiny spray of oil first. Works way better for getting that golden crunch on all of them.
