Hit 5000 landings on that old 737 yesterday, felt surreal

I was cleaning up my logbook after a late shift and noticed I logged my 5000th landing on a 737-300 without even realizing it. I started counting them back when I was a new mechanic doing line work at a small regional outfit in Albuquerque. That number caught me off guard, it's a lot of tires and brakes between then and now. Has anyone else hit a random milestone like this that made you stop and think about how many planes you've touched?

oh man thats wild. i had a buddy who worked mx on md-80s for years and one day he realized he'd signed off on like 3000 oil changes. just kinda hit him in the middle of a night shift.

i hit 2000 tire changes on 737s before i realized i hadnt thought about it in years lol
