Question about the inspector at the hangar in Wichita who caught my torque stripe | Aircraft Mechanics

He looked at the same bolt I'd signed off twice and just said 'run your finger across that stripe, does it feel right to you.' I couldn't feel the break in it until I got better light, and then I had to sit with the fact I'd missed it twice in a row. How do you all handle it when someone catches a miss like that without making it a whole thing?
