Back when panels had actual keys, not apps

I was digging through an old job box in Trenton last month and found a DSC PC1550 I installed back in 2004. That thing had real tactile buttons and a keypad I could program blindfolded, now everything is touchscreen and app updates. The shift really hit me when the homeowner asked why the new panel needs WiFi to arm the system, made me miss the days of just punching in a code. Any of you guys still run into legacy hardwired panels that people refuse to swap out?
