Spent 4 hours troubleshooting a wireless panel that just needed a jumper
I ran into this yesterday on a job over in Oakville. Got called back to a house because the DSC PowerSeries panel was showing a trouble light and the homeowner said it kept beeping. I checked all the zones, swapped the battery, even called tech support for 30 minutes. Turns out the previous installer left the panel in programming mode with the jumper still off the motherboard. Took me almost 4 hours to find a 5 second fix. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon on something that dumb before?

Save your sanity and check jumpers first, I started doing that after the same thing happened.
