My whole plan to watch the new season of 'Frieren' went up in smoke last night

I had the whole evening set up, you know? I made popcorn, got my good headphones, and cleared my schedule from 8 PM on. I was so ready to just sink into the first three episodes. I go to click on the show on my usual site, and it just... doesn't load. I get a weird error message I've never seen before. I spent like 45 minutes trying everything, restarting my router, clearing the cache, the whole deal. My friend texted me 'are you watching it??' and I had to admit my tech just gave up on me. I ended up watching some old clips on my phone instead, which was a total letdown. Has anyone else's streaming service just completely quit on them right when you were most excited to watch something new?

My internet cut out right before the big fight scene in the finale of my show last week. Just sat there staring at a loading circle.
