Found out last week I was cutting my hinge notch way too shallow on removals
I was taking down a 60 foot red oak behind a house in Chattanooga and the whole thing sat back on my saw for a second before it went over, which has never happened to me in 11 years. Turned out my hinge was only about a half inch deep because I got lazy and stopped setting my gunning line with the sight on the powerhead. How deep are you all going on your hinges for bigger removals, or am I the only one who got sloppy?
