Got into it with a coworker over whether remote meetings need cameras on, two very different takes
Last Tuesday my team had a call where half of us had cameras off. One guy argued that camera-on is basic respect, you can read body language and know who's actually paying attention. The other side said it's fake engagement, people are just staring at their own face and multitasking anyway. I land somewhere in the middle, I keep mine on for small groups but turn it off for the big review sessions with 15 people. What do you do, and has anyone changed their mind after a specific meeting went bad one way or the other?
