I wasted $80 on a meal prep subscription that I totally could have done myself
So I signed up for this meal prep service called Freshly last month, you know, the one where they send you single-serving meals. I figured it would save me time and keep me from eating fast food. But after two weeks I realized I was basically paying $10 per tiny container of chicken and rice. I could have made the same stuff at home for like $2 a meal, easy. Plus half the meals tasted super bland and I ended up adding my own seasoning anyway (which defeats the whole point, right?). I canceled after week three and I'm out $80 with nothing to show for it but some plastic containers in the recycling bin. Has anyone else fallen for these subscription services and felt kinda dumb about it afterwards?
