inPSA: I was manually nudging objects for years before a coworker saw me and said 'just type the pixel amount'
Yeah, the whole "nudging before the icons" thing. I was just trying to get the stupid cursor to move to the next line in a text box. It kept jumping back. Felt like I was fighting the website itself.

inA client in Portland said my portfolio was 'too perfect' and asked if I was a robot
lol but what if the client is just wrong? Some people hire you to be the expert, not to watch you figure it out in real time. If I'm paying for a logo, I want to see the final perfect version, not a page of your bad ideas. Maybe that guy just has a weird personal hangup about things looking too clean. In a lot of fields, like making medical stuff or banking apps, showing messy drafts could make you look sloppy and get you kicked out of the running. That "perfection" is what proves you know how to deliver a finished product without hand-holding.

inTIL my client's hair was breaking from a protein overload I didn't spot
Yeah, that protein overload is brutal to fix. I feel for anyone stuck in that cycle.

inPSA: I used to break down every beef hindquarter with a saw, but now I use a knife for the whole thing after a class in Omaha.
That Omaha class changed my whole game.

inKeeping pace with my little brother on our latest backpacking route
You ever notice how the best way to handle something is often to just... slow it all the way down. It's like when you drive the same road every day and stop seeing the houses, but walking it you notice the weird garden gnome. We get so focused on keeping pace we forget the point is being together, not just getting there. I catch myself doing it with errands or even just talking to people, always rushing to the next thing instead of the thing right now.
